Key responsibilities:
- Setting the direction for Web Services
- Prioritising projects
- Representing Web Services at a Senior Level (ITPG, CCE, IWG, Marketing Forum, Student Recruitment and Marketing Group)
- Initial contact for new projects
- Oversight of the overarching structure of the external and internal website(s)
- Leading on the development of strategies for communicating with key stakeholder groups (specifically in relation to recruitment and reputation)

- Web Development Manager
- Web Content Manager
- Project Manager
Responsible for:
- Web Services team
Reports and responsible to:
- Director of Policy and Planning
Acting Web Development Manager
Key responsibilities:
- Managing the technical infrastructure / framework for the delivery of Web Services
- Scoping development projects
- Liaison with technical BUCS colleagues
- Implementing and maintaining coding standards
- Responsible for Web Support
Line management of:
- Web Developers x 3
- Web Supporter
Reports and responsible to:
- Head of Web Services
Web Content Manager
Key responsibilities:
- Development and implementation of the strategies for communicating with key stakeholder groups (specifically in relation to recruitment and reputation)
- Scoping content/architecture projects
- Management and further development of the Framework of Standards and Online Visual Identity (in consultation with the Head of Web Services)
- Responsible for Web Training
- Key contact for Faculty Web Editors
Line management of:
- Web Content Editors x 2
- Web Coordinators x 2
- Web Designer
Reports and responsible to:
- Head of Web Services
Project Manager
Reports to:
- Web Development Manager & Web Content Manager
Responsible to:
- Head of Web Services
Key responsibilities:
- Day to day project management of Web Services projects (based on the priorities set by the Head of Web Services and the scope set out of the Web Development and Content managers).
- The workloads and activities of the Web Developers, Editors, Coordinators and Designer.
