The University of Bath provides a centrally managed High Performance Computing (HPC) service and is available to all researchers at the University. The current system, known as Balena, commissioned 30th April 2015, provides 3,072 x86 compute cores, a range of accelerator cards, parallel filesystem and visualisation services.

The information in this wiki space will help you use the Balena HPC service. If you haven't worked with HPC systems before, you might want to read's HPC 101.
