Prequel: The Beginning
The not-quite-heroes discovered two of the Queen's agents wounded and dying at the foot of the Blackmist mountains just north of they home, Bergen Village. They rescued the agents and went under the mountain in an attempt to recover the artefact they sought. The party failed, allowing the duegar raiders to escape with the amulet into the underdark. After this, the party escorted the slowly healing agents south to the capital, Cantabria. There they were praised by the Queen and were recommended to stay in the city as her guests till the oncoming winter broke and spring came.
Chapter 1: The Cult of Snow
Spring didn't come. The crown called for brave adventurers to venture forth and discover what had happened. The party volunteered and headed towards Bosnan Crater to investigate the strange blue and red cloud hanging over it.
