The University of Bath PGCE is committed to the recruitment and development of high calibre trainee teachers.

At the heart of our program is the partnership between University and schools which works collaboratively to deliver teacher training of the very highest standard.

Our aim is to produce confident and highly skilled teachers who have pupil learning at the core of their practice. We expect commitment, dedication and enthusiasm; in return we will provide excellent support and guidance enabling each trainee to fulfil his/her potential as an outstanding teacher for the future.

The purpose of this wiki site is to enable all you (and tutors!) to access the important information about our science PGCE course.Details of day to day course content, your tasks and school activities with your mentor are all included here.

We hope that you will be able to find all that you need easily and that if you do still find there is a problem, you can let Malcolm know and he will make sure it is all here.

It is your responsibility to check the details on a regular basis, as there are activities that you must complete each week, either in school or at the university. All of this will be explained and supported by your SD Tutor, Malcolm, Alison or Steve.

We really hope that you have a have a great training year.
