We have three instances whereby people work from home:

  1. where there is an individual need (for example, a delivery of goods)
  2. where it is desired to complete a specific piece of work
  3. where it is necessary due to adverse weather conditions (HR Guidance)

If you are working from home for reason 1, then you must:

  • advise your Line Manager of the hours you'll be working
  • be online (available by Teams and email) during those hours and ideally by phone
  • if working on a sprint, call in for the sprint standup

If you are working from home for reason 2, then this must be agreed with your Line Manager in advance so that all parties are clear on the objective.

  • advise your Line Manager of the hours you'll be working
  • be available by email or Teams at points during the day for emergencies
  • if working on a sprint ensure that your team are updated the day before or call in for the daily meeting
